Much debate has emerged over who should have access to guns, if anyone at all, but little focus has been on the actual trauma of the violence itself: how it affects those in its path and how communities are responding.

Our versatile panel of professionals will lead us in a rich discussion and share their comprehensive understanding of these victims' experiences, the complex devastation that they endure, and what is being done to strive towards change. Panelists include: Norman Livingston Kerr, AM '11 (UCAN), Steve Budde, AM '81, PhD '95 (Lecturer, SSA), Lindsay Morel (Learn Charter Network), and Rudy Nimocks (Office of Civic Engagement, University of Chicago).
