The SSA Fund

Annual gifts from SSA alumni and friends help provide necessary funding for student aid, as well as faculty teaching and research. The ability to provide adequate resources helps recruit and retain the best students and faculty, and help SSA remain one of the top schools of social work in the country. You may give to The SSA Fund online, or contact Christina D. Cole at 773-702-1172 for more information. When giving online, choose the "SSA Fund" from the click-down "Area of Giving" menu.

Why you should give.

Planned Giving

The School of Social Service Administration is especially grateful for gifts that are made as part of a will or trust, or in connection with investment and tax planning.  Alumni can find satisfaction in making planned gifts , including charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, and bequests. Planned gifts may be funded with cash, retirement plan assets, real estate, or appreciated securities. Many of these gifts are easy to establish and some provide a guaranteed stream of income back to the donor.  In a low-interest-rate environment, several types of planned gifts provide income, gift, and estate tax benefits.

For more information about the benefits of supporting SSA with a planned gift, please contact Denise Chan Gans in the Office of Gift Planning at (773) 702-0882 or (866) 241-9802.
