This discussion will bring together mothers of victims of violence, along with practitioners (social workers/activists) supporting black and immigrant communities ravaged by state-sanctioned violence in Cali, Colombia and Chicago. Join us for a transnational conversation about building resilience and healing from trauma in communities grappling with high levels of violence, developing novel strategies for resistance through community organizing, memory, and art.
