SSA offers links to its publications on-line. These include the following:

  • Advocates' Forum: One of the very few student-run, peer-reviewed social work journals in the country; it is published once every academic year.
  • SSA e-newsletter: View back issues of meSSAges.
  • SSA Magazine: Features articles of interest to anyone working in the social work and social welfare policy fields. It is published twice a year.
  • The Social Service Review: Founded in 1927, the Review raises scientific discussions of problems arising in connection with the various aspects of social work. The Review has not only reflected the social welfare field but has helped to shape it and it remains the premier journal in its field.
