I work with Brazil's landless movement (MST) to understand the impact of conditional cash transfer programs on household decision-making, credit systems, child outcomes, and political mobilization among landless peasants. My primary methods come from economic anthropology. I also pursue side interests in international mental health and linguistic anthropology.
