The Center for Health Administration Studies (CHAS) hosted on April 8 at SSA a special Michael M. Davis Lecture, “Show Me the Evidence: The Obama Administration’s Use of Evidence,” presented by Ron Haskins, senior fellow, economic studies, The Brookings Institution. He is also co-director of Center on Children and Families, co-director of Budgeting for National Priorities Project, and senior consultant at The Annie E. Casey Foundation. Haskins spoke of his experiences while working for 14 years on the staff of the House Ways and Means Human Resources Subcommittee and as the senior advisor to the president for welfare policy at the White House.
