The core curriculum consists of seven required courses taken during the first two quarters of study. A concentration, selected during the winter quarter of the first year, is begun in the spring. Field placements are required and are carried out in association with the core curriculum during the first year, and in association with each student's concentration during the second year.

Students in the Part-time Day Program take 2 classes each quarter in their first year and do no field placement. In their second and third years students continue taking two classes per quarter and add field placements to their schedules.
