POST-MASTER’S CLINICAL TRAINING PROGRAMS
SSA offers two post-master’s programs to enhance knowledge and build practical skills in three specific domains. Each program requires an application by June 15, 2019 and class sizes are limited. Each fellowship takes place two Friday mornings a month from October 2019 through May 2020 and are held at SSA. Visit the following webpages for details, application forms, and admission requirements.

The Advanced Psychodynamic Fellowship in Clinical Practice

The Advanced Psychodynamic Fellowship in Clinical Practice has been developed for mental health professionals who seek to deepen their understanding of contemporary psychodynamic thought and apply comparative perspectives in clinical practice.

We integrate theories and personal elements through presentation of clinical work in ongoing case consultations. The clinical case consultations provide participants with the opportunity to
integrate theoretical and clinical concepts into their psychotherapeutic practices.

This program provides mental health professionals who have begun to work with ACT and DBT with a forum in which they can further expand their grasp of third-wave behavioral approaches to facilitate meaningful change within a radically accepting therapist-client partnership. The focus of sessions will alternate between lectures and case application. Case application sessions include opportunities for participants to present cases, formulate targets of treatment, identify ways of intervening, and to participate in experiential exercises and real plays.

REMINDERSSA graduates receive a 20% discount on all PDP workshops. There is a 20% discount for group registrations (five or more registrations).
