The University of Chicago has two academic bookstores: The University of Chicago Bookstore (Barnes & Noble) and the Seminary Co-Op Bookstore.

Hyde Park is also home to many independent bookstores selling both new and used titles. See the Hyde Park Booksellers Asssociation for more information.
