Conferences and Workshops

  • CHAS co-sponsored the SHINE Conference: Social and Structural Determinants of HIV Infections Among Minority Populations which was held on Friday, November 16, 2012.  Click here for SHINE Conference flyer.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Robert Fullilove from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health who discussed “Mass Incarceration As a Social Driver of HIV/AIDS in the United States.” 

  • CHAS sponsored the Journal of Health Politics, Policy, and Law (JHPPL)'s Medicaid Expansion Workshop.  A leading journal in its field, and the primary source of communication across the many disciplines it serves, the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law focuses on the initiation, formulation, and implementation of health policy and analyzes the relations between government and health—past, present, and future.  Colleen Grogan is the Editor for JHPPL.
