Each summer since 2010, SSA students visit the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, India to participate in a formal and intensive four-week, study-abroad program focused on urban poverty and community practice that combines fieldwork at community agencies with classroom instruction and seminar discussion. This album is from the August 2011 exchange program. Tata students, since 2011, visit SSA during the fall quarter and attend classes, shadow SSA students in their field placements and participate in other School events.
