PLEASE NOTE: The SSA building will be closed during the summer for renovations. Most summer 2008 workshops will be held in the Biological Sciences Learning Center at 924 East 57th. A detailed map will be sent with your registration and parking at the University Hospital garage will be validated.

Hyde Park classes will meet at the School of Social Service Administration, located at 969 East 60th Street, at the southwest corner of South Ellis Avenue and 60th Street. Free parking is available in the University Hospital garage on 59th Street, directly across the Midway Plaissance from SSA; bring your ticket to class for validation.

SSA is accessible via public transportation:

CTA Bus Routes
• #2-Hyde Park Express; #6-Jackson Park Express, transfer to #170-U of C Midway; #4-Cottage Grove.
Metra Electric Trains:
• Chicago to University Park Metra train from downtown Chicago to 57th Street.

Northbrook classes will meet at the Hilton Northbrook, 2855 Milwaukee Avenue (847/480-7500). The hotel is south of Willow Road, north of Lake Avenue, and just West of the Tri State Tollway (I-294), at the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) and Winkelman Road. Free parking is available in the hotel lot.

Downtown classes will meet at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center, located at 450 North Cityfront Plaza Drive. The building is just east of Michigan Avenue along the Chicago River between the Equitable Building (401 North Michigan Avenue), and the NBC Tower (455 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive). Classes are located on the Concourse Level.

Parking can be found at:
• 201 East Illinois Avenue
• Equitable Building: 401 North Michigan Avenue
• Embassy Suites: 302 E Illinois Avenue
• Smaller lots are in the area are also available.
The PDP cannot validate parking for the downtown location.

The Gleacher Center is accessible via public transportation:

• Michigan Avenue: #11, #33, #125, #145, #146, #147, #151, #157.
• Busses between Union Station or Northwestern Station and Michigan Avenue: #120, #121, #125, #151, #157.

Evanston classes will meet at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 1818 Maple Avenue at the corner of University Place. There is a garage adjacent to the hotel on Maple Avenue, and parking is available for $1 per hour.

Driving Directions from Downtown Chicago:

Take Lake Shore Drive north. Turn right onto Sheridan. On reaching Evanston, turn left onto Clark Street. Clark turns into Elgin. Stay on Elgin to the next light which is Emerson. Turn left on Emerson and go to the next light which is Maple Avenue. Turn left on Maple Avenue. The hotel is on the right one block down at the corner of Maple Avenue and University Place.

The Hilton Garden Inn is accessible via public transportation:

CTA Subway and Elevated Trains
• Purple Line northbound to the Davis Street stop.
Metra Electric:
• Union Pacific North Line to Davis Street, Evanston.
