Hosting an Event at SSA

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event at SSA. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the University of Chicago released new guidance on campus health and safety precautions. Per the University's guidance, we are suspending all University-sponsored events and gatherings effective immediately through the end of May. Plan for June events are TBD and we will take guidance from the University. We will provide further updates regarding events will resume at SSA as more information becomes available.

SSA Community

SSA classrooms, conference rooms, and large meeting spaces are provided primarily for the support of the educational functions of SSA and the activities necessary for the support of these functions. SSA staff, faculty, and current students are eligible to make a room request, provided the meeting or event has received approval from a senior member of their department and funding has been allocated to cover all event-related expenses. Non-University Space Request

SSA classroom and meeting space is not available for rent to private parties or organizations not affiliated with SSA.
