SSA has relationships with over 600 agencies and programs throughout the Chicago area. Students work in the field for an estimated 225,000 hours each year. Students are guided by practitioners who teach them the best practices while providing services to these communities. Please note that agencies may have multiple programs in several different communities and that there are often multiple students working at a particular site.

"SSA is so special because it gives you access to much more than a classroom. You can become part of groundbreaking research, participate in important advocacy work in communities organizing for social justice, or collaborate with students across campus on interdisciplinary projects."
