Nadine Burke Harris, MD, MPH, FAAP, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Center for Youth Wellness in San Francisco, CA. She is a leader in the movement to transform how we respond to early childhood adversity and the resulting toxic stress that dramatically impacts our health and longevity. She was named the first Surgeon General of California on January 21, 2019.
