Consulting Skills Workshop: Expanding Your Toolbox

Learn the development of consulting skills for consulting both external to your organization and internal within your organization from a national consultant with extensive experience consulting with a wide-range of human service, health care, private practice and government organizations.
Workshop includes a conceptual framework and a review of key skills and personal style with application to different organizations. Consultation roles of technical expert, catalyst, process facilitator, change manager and resource linker will be discussed. The stages of a consulting engagement will be presented with case examples to illustrate the process.
Participants will be encouraged to apply the framework to their work and discuss application and implementation. Follow-up phone consultation to review individual participants application of the framework and skills is available.
